Photojournalist and video reporter is a special job, requiring photographers to be knowledgeable about photography and have knowledge of journalism. The longer you work, the more you need to keep learning to keep up with technological innovation, working quickly and efficiently.
Photojournalist and video reporter is not just a job but an ideal to pursue, in my opinion. It is the job of recording history in the most honest, most vivid way. You need to overcome difficulties to find information, prepare for the best operation, make many backup plans so that the ultimate goal is to get news, produce news and send news to the newsroom as quickly as possible. After that, you also have to analyze the success of the article, learn from experience to improve the quality of work in the future.
I had a stint as a freelance reporter for an online newspaper in Central Vietnam from 2012. Besides many topics such as: lifestyle, education, entertainment, I am especially interested in the news of Korean artists coming to Da Nang because the 'Wave of Korean culture' is being interested in Vietnam. I have the help of people from the event organizers, but there are events that I have to find information to work on. Those are the days of being at the airport to take pictures of Korean stars arriving and leaving Da Nang, those are the days of having to find a way to take pictures of artists with almost no clue, staying up all night to edit and send news...
I had a chance to get news about the trip of: Super Junior members (Choi Siwon, Shindong, Heechul), Bigbang (Seungri, Taeyang), Jay Park, TWICE, AOA, Park Gyuri (KARA), NCT Dream , aespa, KARD, Kim Hee Sun, Yoon Shi Yoon, Son Ji Hyun (4minute), Lia (ITZY)... when they come to Da Nang, Hoi An to travel, film reality TV or attend events .
As time goes by, there are so many memories and what counts for me are the photos, short videos that are hard to come by.

The male singer from the group Bigbang took a flight from Korea to Da Nang on the evening of June 16, 2023. Taeyang will attend a Korean music festival at a seaside resort (in Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province). This place is about 10 km from Hoi An ancient town. The festival also attended: "Kpop queen" - BoA, aespa, Hyoyeon (SNSD), KARD, DJ Raiden, Kim Woo Seok, Kihyun, Trinity (Thai pop boy band).
Bigbang (V.I.P) fans created a lively atmosphere at the arrival terminal of Da Nang International Airport (T2). Fans come from Da Nang, the South and the North of Vietnam. They brought many lightsticks and banners to welcome Taeyang.
